Learn to offer guidance for coping with complex, often overlapping social, psychological and economic problems while focusing on the skills that contribute to effective intervention. Explore the concepts, strategies and skills that produce long-term positive results through this program, developed in cooperation with the Maryland Department of Human Resources and adhering to National Organization for Human Services standards.

Participate in an internship that provides valuable, hands-on experience, preparing you for a career as a specialist, manager or director in a private, nonprofit or government organization.
